The Saltillo Lions basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Union Hill Bulldogs to 16 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Detroit for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Saltillo will battle a Eagles team coming off a 66-31 non-league loss to Chisum (Paris, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-12.

The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Union Grove crushed Garrison (Garrison, TX), 52-46, in a non-league match.
