The South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) basketball edged the visiting McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), 77-74 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Bandys for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. South Caldwell will play a Trojans team coming off a 78-54 non-league win over Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, McDowell falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Alexander Central won 64-54 in their recent non-league bout against North Iredell (Olin, NC)
