The Cairo-Durham Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Germantown Clippers to 21 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a Section 2 Patroon contest on Thursday, December 8. Cairo-Durham will battle a Spartans team coming off a 65-51 league win over Catskill (Catskill, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.

The Clippers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Taconic Hills was routed by Hudson (Hudson, NY), 49-47, in a league contest.
