Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA), 51-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions host Shandon (Shandon, CA) to play the Outlaws in a Coast Valley bout on Friday, December 9. The Outlaws go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Shandon lost 63-14 in their recent league bout against Maricopa (Maricopa, CA)

Next up, the Broncos play the Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Coast Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA).
