Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting IDEA Sports Park Stingrays (Brownsville, TX), 68-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Rio Hondo upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Raymondville (Raymondville, TX) to play the Bearkats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Bearkats go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Raymondville lost 72-58 in their recent non-league bout against Lopez (Brownsville, TX)

Next up, the Stingrays play the Lyford Bulldogs (Lyford, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 32 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. IDEA Sports Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 64-28 league loss to Progreso (Progreso, TX).
