KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC), 58-47 in a league bout.

With the win, KIPP Pride upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pride travel to Northampton County (Gaston, NC) to clash with the Jaguars in a 1A Conference 9 bout on Friday, December 9. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Northampton County won 67-36 in their recent league bout against Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC) in a 1A Conference 9 bout, on Friday, December 9. Southeast Halifax will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 68-52 league win over Warren County (Warrenton, NC).
