Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift falls to Leander

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Leander Lions basketball team scored a good 48-34 triumph over the Vandegrift Vipers.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Hendrickson Hawks (Pflugerville, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 8. Leander will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 9-3 record after their 69-66 non-league win over Killeen (Killeen, TX).

With the defeat, Vandegrift moves to 8-4 on the year. The Vipers travel to Brazosport (Freeport, TX) to meet the Exporters in a non-league match on Thursday, December 8. The Exporters enter the match with a record of 1-5. Brazosport lost 66-42 in their recent non-league match against Wharton (Wharton, TX)
