The Ripley Tigers basketball team (Ripley, MS), was nudged 36-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the host South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS)

The Cougars now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston for a 4A Region 2 battle on Friday, December 9.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS). The Vikings come into the 4A Region 2 battle with a 3-3 record.
