With the victory, New Covenant improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA) to play the Ospreys in a challenge on Friday, December 9. The Ospreys come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy won 44-12 in their recent league challenge against Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Temple Christian Crusaders (Madison Heights, VA) in a challenge, on Friday, December 9. Westover Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 31-23 league loss to Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA).
