Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL), 72-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Handley upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers host Lanett (Lanett, AL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Lanett won 47-41 in their recent non-league bout against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)

Next up, the Volunteers clash with the Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) in a 5A Area 8 bout, on Friday, December 9. Central of Clay County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Aggies go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 63-22 non-league loss to Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL).
