Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 43-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Colonial Beach upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Drifters host Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Spotsylvania lost 60-8 in their recent non-league bout against Orange County (Orange, VA)

Next up, the Pointers clash with the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA) in a Tidewater bout, on Friday, December 9. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Royal Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 49-32 non-league loss to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA).
