The Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) basketball crushed the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 48-26 in Monday's non-league test.
The Drifters (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Raiders go into the Northern Neck test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Rappahannock walloped Essex (Tappahannock, VA), 61-39, in a league test.
The Pointers now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Maggie Walker for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 8. West Point will encounter a squad coming off a 49-18 league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA). The record now stands at 10-9.
