The Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) basketball felled the visiting New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), 54-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Wildkits go into the Central Suburban - South test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Evanston thwarted Niles West (Skokie, IL), 37-36, in a league test.

The Trevians now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Glenbrook South for a Central Suburban - South test on Friday, December 9. New Trier will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 62-45 league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Titans record now stands at 8-1.
