The Del Lago Academy Firebirds (Escondido, CA) basketball crushed the host Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA), 76-28 in Wednesday's league test.
The Firebirds (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Rock Academy (San Diego, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Rock Academy walloped Escondido (Escondido, CA), 39-32, in a non-league test.
The Caimans now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Coastal Academy for a Ocean test on Friday, December 8. Classical Academy will encounter a Stingrays squad coming off a 40-28 league loss to Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Stingrays record now stands at 4-1.
