Illinois High School Basketball - Waukegan can't hold off Lake Forest

The Lake Forest Scouts basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Waukegan Bulldogs to 55 in the Scouts league victory on Wednesday.

The Scouts now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Libertyville for a North Suburban contest on Saturday, December 9. Lake Forest will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 76-41 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.

The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs come into the North Suburban contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Mundelein edged Zion-Benton (Zion, IL), 54-41, in a league contest.
