Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest fells Waukegan

Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), 60-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Forest betters its record to 14-5 on the year. The Scouts travel to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, January 20. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 15-5. Rolling Meadows won 66-37 in their recent league match against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL)

With the defeat, Waukegan moves to 12-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Christ the King (Chicago, IL) to meet the Gladiators in a non-league match on Saturday, January 20. The Gladiators enter the match with a record of 18-3. Christ the King won 53-39 in their recent league match against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL)
