Ohio High School Basketball - Springfield tops Coventry

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH) and the host Coventry Comets (Akron, OH), saw Springfield's basketball squad knock off Coventry by a count of 44-29.

With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Woodridge (Peninsula, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Metro challenge on Friday, December 8. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Woodridge lost 56-35 in their recent league challenge against Norton (Norton, OH)
