California High School Basketball - Leland holds off Prospect

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Leland Chargers basketball team scored a close 55-50 triumph over the Prospect Panthers.

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Pioneer nipped North Salinas (Salinas, CA), 55-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Prospect will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 70-17 non-league loss to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA).
