The Murray County Indians basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting North Murray Mountaineers to 48 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sonoraville for a AA Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 10. Murray County will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 72-69 league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, North Murray falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Ringgold (Ringgold, GA) to confront the Tigers in a AA Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 10. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 4-2. Ringgold won 67-31 in their recent non-league game against Ridgeland (Rossville, GA)
