Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect nips Hersey

December 6, 2024: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056

In Friday's league contest, the host Prospect Knights basketball team scored a close 33-29 triumph over the Hersey Huskies.

The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Neuqua Valley nipped Sycamore (Sycamore, IL), 59-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Hersey will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 56-48 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL).
