The Villanova Prep Wildcats edged the visiting Providence Patriots basketball team by a tally of 58-53 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Newbury Park Adventist for a non-league bout on Monday, December 8. Villanova Prep will play a Gators team coming off a 61-56 league win over Beacon Hill (Camarillo, CA). The Gators record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Providence falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Oak Grove (Ojai, CA) to play the Lizards in a Freelance bout on Wednesday, December 10. The Lizards come into the test with a record of 0-0.
