The Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL), 88-20 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record.
The Indians now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Colbert Heights for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Cherokee will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 69-55 non-league loss to Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
