North Carolina High School Basketball - South Charlotte Thunder nips Greater Cabarrus Stallions

December 7, 2021: Concord, NC 28027

South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the win, South Charlotte Thunder upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Thunder host Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Metrolina Christian Academy lost 87-69 in their recent league bout against Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars (High Point, NC) in a North Carolina Home Education - West bout, on Thursday, December 9. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 70-58 league win over Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC).
