Virginia High School Basketball - Craig County overwhelmed by Alleghany

The Alleghany Mountaineers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Craig County Rockets to 19 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covington for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Alleghany will battle a Cougars team coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 0-5.

The Rockets (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues come into the Pioneer contest with a 3-0 record.
