The Avon Lake Shoremen basketball team (Avon Lake, OH), dropped 63-43 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Avon Eagles (Avon, OH)

The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elyria for a Southwestern battle on Wednesday, December 14. Avon will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 57-28 league loss to Midview (Grafton, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-4.

The Shoremen (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bellevue (Bellevue, OH). The Redmen come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Bellevue prevailed over Shelby (Shelby, OH), 49-46, in a non-league battle.
