North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee County crushes Jordan-Matthews

December 7, 2022: Siler City, NC 27344

Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 49-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lee County upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to play the Vikings in a 3A/4A Conference 24 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Jets play the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 57-2 non-league win over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC).
