In Wednesday's non-league outing, the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA), by a margin of 37-7.
The Maroons (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Fort Chiswell was trounced by Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA), 26-12, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Eastside for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 14.
