With the win, Monticello upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Ponies travel to Madison Country Day (Waunakee, WI) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Madison Country Day lost 79-55 in their recent league bout against Parkview (Orfordville, WI)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Belmont Braves (Belmont, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Black Hawk will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 49-46 league win over Benton (Benton, WI).
