The Sweetwater Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Boyd Yellowjackets to 53 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perrin-Whitt for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Sweetwater will meet a Pirates team coming off a 73-61 non-league win over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 6-0.

The Yellowjackets (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Perrin-Whitt nudged Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX), 73-61, in a non-league contest.
