The Hope Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders to 48 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside Christian Academy for a Southeastern Christian contest on Monday, December 11. Hope Christian Academy will meet a team coming off a 47-44 league win over Corinth Christian Academy (Jasper, FL). The record now stands at 2-2.

The Defenders (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Crossroads Christian Academy (Blackshear, GA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Crossroads Christian Academy was routed by Victory Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL), 61-30, in a league contest.
