In Thursday's league outing, the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI), by a margin of 68-46.

The Pointers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI). The Blackhawks go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Prairie du Chien was trounced by Lancaster (Lancaster, WI), 60-48, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Iowa-Grant for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities outing on Tuesday, December 12.
