The Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) basketball crushed the host Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), 62-26 in Thursday's league test.

The Kays (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Warriors go into the Southland test with a 3-8 record.

The Blazing Trojan now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marian Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Bloom will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 39-36 league win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
