The Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), 62-31 in Saturday's league test.

The Kays (19-8) will now prepare for their test against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners go into the non-league test with a 23-3 record. In their last test, Nazareth Academy walloped Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 45-25, in a league test.

The Blazing Trojan now own a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Crete-Monee for a Southland test on Monday, February 5. Bloom will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 66-23 league loss to Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-18.
