The Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 67-57 in Saturday's league bout.

The Griffins now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Marist for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Lincoln-Way East will play a RedHawks team coming off a 62-31 non-league win over Hyde Park (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Lincoln-Way Central falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Lockport (Lockport, IL) to play the Porters in a SouthWest Suburban bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Porters go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Lockport won 70-56 in their recent league bout against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
