In Saturday's league contest, the host West Branch Warriors basketball team scored a good 42-28 triumph over the Carrollton Warriors.
The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, OH). The Quakers go into the Eastern Buckeye contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Salem was topped by Marlington (Alliance, OH), 44-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye contest, on Wednesday, December 11. Carrollton will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 68-42 non-league loss to John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH).
