Georgia High School Basketball - Charlton County topples Pierce County

December 8, 2022: Folkston, GA 31537

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), by a count of 68-50.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hilliard (Hilliard, FL). The Red Flashes go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Hilliard defeated Brantley County (Nahunta, GA), 74-36, in a non-league outing.

The Bears now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brantley County for a AA Region 3 outing on Tuesday, December 13. Pierce County will clash with a Herons squad coming off a 71-36 non-league loss to Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Herons record now stands at 6-2.
