The Rapid River Rockets basketball team (Rapid River, MI), was overwhelmed 63-36 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host North Central Jets (Powers, MI)
The Jets now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Superior Central for a Central Upper Peninsula battle on Monday, December 12. North Central will confront a Cougars team coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
The Rockets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
