North Central Jets (Powers, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI), 74-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Jets host Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI) to play the Wolverines in a Skyline bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Mid Peninsula lost 57-48 in their recent league bout against Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI)

Next up, the Rockets play the Bark River-Harris Broncos (Harris, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Rapid River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 56-22 non-league loss to Norway (Norway, MI).
