In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting West Central Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 42-23 triumph over the Starmont Stars.
In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) in a Upper Iowa match, on Tuesday, December 13. West Central will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 30-29 non-league loss to Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN).
With the defeat, Starmont moves to 0-5 on the year. The Stars host Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA) to meet the Wildcats in a Tri-Rivers - West match on Friday, December 9. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 3-2.
