The Mesick Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Catholic Central Sabers to 31 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bear Lake for a West Michigan D contest on Tuesday, December 12. Mesick will battle a Lakers team coming off a 45-37 league loss to Walkerville (Walkerville, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.

The Sabers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, MI). The Eagles enter the West Michigan D contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Marion was routed by Pentwater (Pentwater, MI), 48-33, in a league contest.
