Cavalier Tornadoes (Cavalier, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Midway/Minto Mustangs (Inkster, ND), 67-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Cavalier upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tornadoes host Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND) to play the Aggies in a B District 3 bout on Thursday, December 14. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Edgeley Rangers (Edgeley, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Midway/Minto will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
