North Dakota High School Basketball - Cavalier can't hold off Midway/Minto

The Midway/Minto Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Cavalier Tornadoes to 61 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.
The Mustangs now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Midway/Minto will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Langdon/Edmore/Munich (Langdon, ND). The Bearcats record now stands at 16-1.
The Tornadoes (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] (Walhalla, ND). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] nudged Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND), 65-50, in a league contest.
