Georgia High School Basketball - Clinch County topped by Cook

The Cook Hornets basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Clinch County Panthers to 54 in the Hornets non-league victory on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irwin County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Cook will battle a Indians team coming off a 58-56 non-league loss to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Indians record now stands at 0-3.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Herons come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Brantley County prevailed over Wayne County (Jesup, GA), 63-57, in a non-league contest.
