The Volunteer Falcons basketball team (Church Hill, TN), dropped 58-43 in Friday's league battle with the host Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN)
The Grizzlies now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cumberland Gap for a non-league battle on Monday, December 11. Grainger will confront a Panthers team coming off a 79-49 league loss to Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.
The Falcons (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Lakeway Christian Academy beat Berean Christian (Knoxville, TN), 65-61, in a league battle.
