North Carolina High School Basketball - Northampton County thwarts Northwest Halifax

December 8, 2023: Littleton, NC 27850

The Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) basketball knocked off the host Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), 65-52 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (3-1) will now prepare for their test against KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Pride go into the 1A Tar Roanoke test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, KIPP Pride went down by Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC), 69-46, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Wilson Prep for a 1A Tar Roanoke test on Friday, December 15.

Northampton County

Congratulations to #4 Jamari Blake for being selected the Northampton County Basketball Player of the Game.
