Arkansas High School Basketball - Quitman can't hold off South Side

The South Side Hornet basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Quitman Bulldogs to 57 in the Hornet league triumph on Friday.
The Hornet now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rural Special for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. South Side will battle a Rebels team coming off a 57-55 league win over Viola (Viola, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 4-9.
The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Greyhounds enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Sloan-Hendrix nudged Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR), 48-44, in a league contest.
