The Palestine Wildcats basketball team (Palestine, TX), dropped 80-71 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Athens Hornets (Athens, TX)
The Hornets now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. Athens will battle a Warriors team coming off a 74-56 non-league win over Yavneh Academy (Dallas, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pollok Central (Pollok, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Pollok Central beat West Sabine (Pineland, TX), 54-38, in a non-league battle.
