Bensalem Fighting Owls (Bensalem, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA), 58-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Bensalem upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Fighting Owls host Council Rock North (Newtown, PA) to play the Indians in a Suburban One - National bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Council Rock North lost 50-39 in their recent non-league bout against Chichester (Boothwyn, PA)

Next up, the Golden Hawks play the Neshaminy Redskins (Langhorne, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Council Rock South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 58-56 non-league win over Norristown (Norristown, PA).
