The Bethel Bees basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Covington Buccs to 39 in the Bees league triumph on Friday.
The Bees now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tecumseh for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Bethel will meet a Arrows team coming off a 48-39 league win over Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 2-1.
The Buccs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Mississinawa Valley was outscored by National Trail (New Paris, OH), 57-48, in a league contest.
