The Maxwell Bears basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Cimarron Rams to 51 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Maxwell will meet a Tigers team coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
The Rams (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Des Moines was outscored by Raton (Raton, NM), 55-50, in a non-league game.
